STILL NOT DONE TRAVELLING!

Right now, I am on a flight heading to South Africa for a short vacation. The trip so far has been exciting, even though I am not feeling my best because of all the hotel food I have been eating. Still, I cannot complain because this trip has given me some of the most memorable experiences of my life.

I have spent single days in different countries, moving quickly from one place to the next, attending events, tasting new foods, and exploring tourist attractions. Even though the stays were short, each country had its own charm and left me with stories to carry home.

What has truly made this trip unforgettable is the people. I met seventeen amazing individuals who brought such fresh air into the journey. We laughed together, shared experiences, and even cried when it was time to part ways at the airports. There is something about traveling with strangers who quickly become friends that makes goodbyes so emotional. We promised to stay in touch, and I believe we will.

Alongside them, I also met a few others in unexpected ways. We exchanged contacts, and I secretly hope that one of these connections might grow into something more meaningful. You all know how complicated I can be when it comes to relationships, but still, there is a small part of me that is hopeful.

Of course, I miss home food. Nothing compares to the taste of Ghanaian meals, but I am not going back to Ghana soon. And if I do, I will be spending some time in Legon during my break, so if you are around, you can always come and visit.

One thing that has kept me company throughout this trip is music. I have been playing songs non-stop, even though I must be communicating more; you know, looking for a job. Till I see you again.

Below is the  picture of the 17 African Writers I met.

This picture doesn't do them justice but I'm expecting their comment.
