MY COOKING TALENTS!

I have so many cooking talents and I’m sure most of you already know that from my Snapchat, which I term as my vlogging channel. Sometimes I wonder if I should throw away my dreams of being a writer and pursue a career in cooking instead. Honestly, I’m a great cook — at least that’s what I hear from a lot of people. Recently, I got myself a new oven, and that opened up a whole new world of culinary possibilities. It’s been a total game changer. Now I can cook and bake all sorts of meals without needing any help or even watching a single YouTube video. That independence has been so empowering.

As you’ve probably seen from this image, I’m a big fan of corned beef pizza. Its taste is different, scrumptious, and something that practically melts in your mouth and there’s no struggle involved. It’s that good, trust me! If you haven’t tried it, you’re truly missing out. Think of it as pizza’s underrated cousin: bold, weird, and unforgettable.

Now let’s talk cookies. Recently, thanks to a friend, I started baking cookies and sharing them with a few people. The reviews? “Creamier and butterier than you!” (Their words, not mine.) Laughs. Scoffs.

And my shortbread? Ouu, the taste... absolute heaven. Buttery, tasty, sugary, with just the right crumble — it’s what dreams are made of.

I’ve also learned how to bake sausage pies, which are surprisingly similar to meat pies — though I used to find those much harder to make.

Then there’s the pasta Alfredo. Mine is a beautiful medley of penne, sautéed vegetables, your choice of protein (I use beef), and a creamy sauce that wraps everything in comfort. And yes, I even learned to make my cooking cream. There’s no more unnecessary Uber rides to the mall or buying overpriced versions. All it takes is three simple ingredients. The images are screenshots of the cooking videos found on Snapchat.

Sometimes I feel like my culinary skills far outshine my writing. When I cook, I get real-time praise and sometimes even money offers, which is more than I can say for my stories. (Side note: if any companies reviewing my résumé come across this post, please consider me as a potential sous chef.) In the end, I suppose my true talent is just being myself and I am creative. Let’s call it a gastronomic authenticity or maybe just delicious charisma. Either way, the kitchen loves me, and frankly, I love it back.
